white dresses

Spring makes me think of white cotton dresses like the style made in the victorian era and reinterpreted in the 60s and 70s. Sort of like a gunne sax dress but in all white. Victorian slips had so many amazing embroidery and lace details. Most of those pieces are so fragile now they can't be worn anymore but there are plently from the 70s that are still wearable.
I always find inspiration in films and found some images from some of my favorite movies with this style.

Picnic at Hanging Rock (1975)

Pretty Baby (1978)

Ballad of Jack and Rose ( 2005)

This headband also captures the same look but more modern. Available in other colors too!
